While Product Owner is a well-accepted role name in Agile -- and we frequently use it -- we have tightened the definition of what we mean when we use it. As we often work with Scrum teams, we've borrowed from their metaphor. The Scrum Half is the player that puts the ball into and receives the ball from the scrum. We think that image describes well the role we have in mind.
